Martine J. Baron, LCSW-R, is a behavioral health clinician, organizational development consultant, and workforce strategist with over 25 years of experience transforming individuals, teams, and institutions across New York City's most complex public health and social service systems.
As founder and principal of M.J. Baron Consultant Services, an MWBE-certified, woman-owned firm, Martine delivers evidence-based training, clinical services, program development, and strategic consulting to government agencies, healthcare institutions, and community organizations throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Her work is grounded in the proprietary IMPACT Methodology™, a framework that integrates trauma-informed care, adult learning theory, and organizational strategy to drive measurable outcomes.
Martine earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work (1998) and holds an LCSW-R license in New York State, reflecting advanced clinical expertise. She is currently working on a certified EMDR therapist specializing in trauma treatment and maintains an independent practice providing psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and forensic psychosocial evaluations.
Her career includes leadership positions at major NYC public hospitals (Kings County Hospital Center, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center) where she developed behavioral health programs, supervised clinical staff, and served underserved populations. As a forensic social worker, she conducts psychosocial assessments for legal proceedings and litigation support.
